1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: name, email address, password, company, role.
- Billing information: processed by our merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy). We do not store full card numbers.
- Content you submit: URLs, keywords, brand context, generated articles, and connected-site data.
- Communications: support requests, feedback, and survey responses.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device, browser, IP address (anonymized when GA4 is configured for IP anonymization).
- Usage events such as page views and feature interactions through Google Analytics 4 and PostHog — only after Analytics consent.
- Privacy-masked PostHog session replay after Analytics consent. Form inputs are masked, performance capture is disabled, and cross-origin iframes are excluded.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- OAuth providers (e.g., Google) when you sign in with them.
- Connected platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Blogger, Ghost) — strictly the data needed to publish content and read SEO metrics.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
- Generate AI content and SEO insights tailored to your brand.
- Process payments, manage subscriptions, and send transactional emails.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. AI & Content Generation
We use third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) to generate content. Inputs are sent over encrypted connections and are not used to train external models per our providers' enterprise agreements. We retain generated content in your dashboard until you delete it.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers (cloud hosting, payments, email, AI providers, Google Analytics, and PostHog) bound by confidentiality.
- Connected platforms at your direction.
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice).
5. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period thereafter as needed to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You may request deletion at any time via your dashboard Settings or by emailing privacy@Ai4Ranks.com.
GA4 identifiers are retained for up to 24 months. PostHog browser identifiers are retained for up to 12 months, and session replay recordings for up to 30 days. Consent records are retained as necessary to demonstrate and audit your consent choices. Withdrawing Analytics consent stops new analytics collection.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Port your data to another service.
- Withdraw analytics consent at any time through the Cookie preferences link, or opt out of marketing emails.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (EEA/UK).
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access control, and regular audits. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong password and enable 2FA.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries outside your own. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards where required.
9. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
